Ѯ, ؏ and Ⴀ (Ksi, Ein and An)

Installation of objects and a video.

Video: 22 min, Sound, Color, YouTube Footages

Objects: Clay, Paper, Acrylic, Powder Pigment

Ѯ, ؏ and Ⴀ is almost a love story. Two lovers get separated right at the moment of pleasure by the demon of desire. One of them gets captivated and the other starts a journey to rescue them. The artist appears during thisjourney to help the lover conquer four demons of materials: fire, water, wind and earth.

The project cares about the relationship between moving images and objects both in their narrative situations. Capturing the desire as a practice of abstraction with what is considered basic studio materials and sculpting it in a constitutive narrative to construct a language has been the core of the process.
